Who We Are

We lose 5x more construction workers every year to suicide than all other construction fatalities combined.  We recognize that there is a fundamental issue within the industry, and we are working to redefine the landscape of occupational health and engagement within construction.

Project BUILT is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting the construction workforce. We stand for the people who build our world.  We provide mental health support and tools, create and foster strong communities, and provide resources for workers and their loved ones. Because no one should struggle in silence.

Our Core Values

Education

We believe that every worker should have the tools to take charge of their own well-being—on and off the job site. That means more than knowing how to run conduit or weld pipe; it’s about recognizing when you or your brother are struggling, knowing where to turn, and having the confidence to step in.

Education isn’t about compliance—it’s about survival. The more we know, the harder it is for the old systems to keep us in the dark.

Support

We believe we’re built for connection—always have been. You wouldn’t pour concrete without rebar. You wouldn’t hang steel without bolts. So why the hell do we expect people to hold it together on their own? Real support is the person next to you noticing when you’re not yourself. It’s a foreman who gives a damn. It’s a crew that’s got your back, on and off the clock.

When we build mentorship, real peer support, and community we’re laying down the web of steel that makes the whole damn foundation flexible, strong, and built to last.

Integrity

Workers aren’t disposable. Their lives, their health, and their families aren’t line items on a budget. Integrity isn’t about policies or PR—it’s about doing what’s right when no one’s keeping score. The best companies know that when they take care of their people, their people take care of the work.

It’s about building a culture where safety isn’t an afterthought, fairness is the standard, and every worker knows they matter—not just for what they build, but for who they are.

Community

This industry was built on trust—on knowing the crew beside you is solid, that you’re all working toward the same goal. That doesn’t stop at the job site. A strong community isn’t just good for workers—it’s good for business.

When we look out for each other, when every worker knows they belong, and every leader invests in their people, we build more than projects. We build loyalty, respect, and a future where the construction industry isn’t just a job—it’s a place where people thrive.

Empowerment

A strong company starts with strong people. When workers have the tools to take care of themselves—physically, mentally, financially—everyone wins. The best companies know this, and the best workers live it.

We don’t just build structures, we build careers, families, and futures. That happens when workers know they have a say, leaders know their people are their greatest asset, and everyone has the chance to bring their best to the job. When we lift each other up, the whole industry rises.

Unity

Every project takes a team—laborers, foremen, engineers, executives—each piece as important as the next. That’s how we build, and that’s how we grow. When we stop seeing division—between the field and the office, the old school and the new—real change happens.

The companies leading the way know that investing in their people means stronger teams, safer sites, and better results. The workers shaping the future know that their voice matters. Together, we’re building more than structures. We’re building a better way forward.
